A graduate of Hiram College and Syracuse University College of Law, Nathan joined the firm as a partner in 1981 and has carried on its tradition of excellent service at a fair cost. He practices from the firm's principal office in Ithaca, New York.
Always involved in civic life, Nathan is a Rotarian of over 32 years and served on the Chamber of Commerce Board for over 22 years. He was appointed trustee of the IOLA fund by Governor Pataki in 2003, and has been active in Ithaca-area community organizations throughout his career.
Gail has worked with the firm since 1987, coordinating real estate closings with care and precision — ensuring every transaction, large or small, proceeds correctly and on time.
A Cornell University graduate with a B.S., she also holds a master's degree in counseling from Syracuse University and a master's in computer software from Binghamton University.
Curtis Lyman was born and raised in Albion, NY. A graduate of Hiram College and Cornell University College of Law, he was admitted to practice and returned to Albion in 1951. He left the firm of Church, Lyman & Church in 1961 to start a solo general practice at 51 N. Main Street.
In 1974, Governor Malcolm Wilson appointed Curtis Sr. as District Attorney, a position he held until 1985. The partnership of Lyman & Lyman was formed when he was joined by son Curtis Jr. in 1978, and later by Nathan in 1981. Curtis Sr. continued the practice of law until his untimely death in 1992.
Curt was a partner in the firm from 1978 to 1985. A graduate of Hiram College and Case Western Reserve Law School, he went on to a distinguished career in financial services.
Nathan joined the firm as a partner in 1981 and today carries on its tradition of accessible, quality representation at a fair cost. His practice is focused on real estate, business law, and litigation from the firm's principal office in Ithaca, New York.
